Born in Blackburn in 1981, grew up in Clitheroe, Lancashire in the north of England.

I studied Electronic Media Design at University in Sunderland.

After graduating in 2002, I travelled to Canada, where I worked at a ski resort, as a mountain bike mechanic, and did a variety of freelance design jobs.

Before returning to the UK, I tool the opertunity go for along bike ride - and cycled 2,700 miles from the Arctic coast of Canada, through Alaska and down to California.

I started work at the Oil Spill Training Company in Inverness, Scotland, in 2004. I am responsible for the design of interactive e-Learning exercises, interface design, and company web design.
